Project Summary: This project was originally set to plant 295 trees in southwest Fresno with a larger goal of expanding the urban forest in this area. The project was able to stay under budget and for that reason an additional 110 trees were planted bringing the total to 405 trees. The project was again under budget and for that reason an additional segment has been added. The final segment will now be the beautification of a street median on Jensen Ave, just west of state route 41. This beautification will include repairing irrigation and the planting of trees and shrubs along with installation of wood chips.
