Project Summary: The WFATT project will train 200 qualified Fresno Residents in Commercial Truck Driver Training to obtain their California Class A license. A minimum of 80% of the trainees will be residents from the 93706 and 93721 zip codes. The project also includes workforce development and career services such as job readiness workshops, supportive services, and job placement services. FRWDB and WFATT are also conducting heightened outreach to local employers that currently use or are interested in using low/zero emission vehicles to increase awareness on the availability and benefits of zero emission vehicles for the trucking industry.
