DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Good news\, everyone! \nFresno Metro Ministry is having another Food Forest Tree Planting Day coming up and would love to invite you\, your friends\, your family\, and your co-workers to join us for this exciting event! \n  \nWe will be planting over 100 bare root trees that include a wide variety of stone fruit\, citrus\, and native species for a Community Food Forest that will be open to the public! We will be making tree rings\, laying drip irrigation\, spreading mulch\, and planting cover crops too! Holes for the trees will be pre-dug\, and with a variety of tasks to choose from there will be something for everyone no matter your age or ability. There will be a workshop at the beginning of the event that will teach the basics of planting trees and drip irrigation\, so no experience is needed! \n  \nWhen: Saturday\, January 21st from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm  \n  \nWhere: Yo’Ville Community Garden and Farm Incubator 872 W Atchison CT Fresno\, CA 93706 \nWear closed-toe shoes and warm comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty\, in layers that you can shed through out the day. Sun protection and sunscreen. We will be providing tools\, water\, snacks\, and lunch for those that are staying for the entire day.
